About Edison Fire

The Edison Fire Protection District is an all-volunteer fire and emergency services organization serving rural communities in eastern Colorado.
Our firefighters and emergency medical personnel are neighbors helping neighbors. Whether responding to a structure fire, medical emergency, vehicle accident, or wildland fire, our members are committed to providing professional, compassionate emergency services.
Through training, teamwork, and cooperation with neighboring agencies, we work every day to make our communities safer.

What we do
Fire Suppression & Rescue
Our volunteer firefighters respond to structure fires, vehicle accidents, and other emergencies, providing fire suppression, rescue, and incident stabilization.
Emergency Medical Services
Our trained personnel provide emergency medical response and patient care, working alongside regional emergency medical and transport providers.
Wildland Fire Response
We protect homes, property, and natural resources through wildland fire response, specialized equipment, training, and cooperation with neighboring agencies.
Community Safety
We help residents prepare for emergencies through fire safety information, public education, and community engagement.
